New slider idea

So I have been thinking about coming out with a second style of rock slider..
These will be weld on. But holes will be available if you have a couple of hours to kill and want to drill your frame..

Anybody in SOCAL looking for a set right now PM me for details.. I have this prototype set ready for testing

These would be for those who dont need all the benefits of our up and coming boat side sliders...

Main body is 2x2 box tube with the ends chopped at 45* so they slide up obstacles in forward or reverse... These will be capped of course

Next we add a 1.75 Round tube kicker... It is wider at the rear to allow for push-off.. They also angle upwards about 12*

I like them, personally though I prefer the look of a slider with a kickout but still a nice set of sliders look very tough

I get what you are saying... I like the function of the kick out but not so much the look... Maybe we tapper the rear a little more out so it does the same thing but visually looks sleek...

I like 'em a lot.. mainly cus they look like mine :D However, yours sit closer to the body and look more sleek lol. I've always loved the hybrid sliders look.

How come you only went with 2 inner legs? I think if your going for functionality 3 is a lot better and doesn't really require much more work.

True... There really wasn't a reason :biggrin2:.... So we may just have to add that in on the next sets...

The span in between them is so short that I am not sure it will add all that much to over all strength.. Taking this from past sliders and they were beat on..
