New Speakers Installed!!

So I finally got around to installing my new speakers on my 06-Runner...I went with Infinnity Kappa's 6X9 in front and Infinnity Reference's 6 1/2 in the rear. The sound is awesome..much better than the old speakers and thats an understatement seeing as how the factory spealers had a magnet the size of a gold coin. I was very amused when I removed the first speaker in the front adn saw that there was nothing to em'-to say the least they looked like an afterthought on this car and its no wonder why I was getting such a crappy sound with them.

Are you still using the factory headunit? If so do you have basic radio or JBL system? I have debated for quite some time of upgrading my speakers to the same Inifinitys as you, but am not sure of the improvement with the factory JBL system.

I replaced my head unit a year or so ago...I'm using what I had on my '02 4runner which is an Eclipse AVN2454...It's an older unit I think came out in 01' or so but it does what I need it to. Been looking to upgrade head units so if I do i'll post.

Miggy, did you run new speaker cable or are you using the stock wiring?
