New steering linkage kit advice for the 1991

Figuring I might as well get a package deal kit that covers the bases. (reason being the existing stuff is shot and dangerously loose)

Does anyone have any brand advice, experience, deals, pitfalls, etc., they'd like to share?

I will be using a friend /mechanic who has all the tools to do the work and it seems quite straightforward. Slap it together and take it to the alignment shop.

A quick search turns up some usual suspects such as Moog:

I'm gonna use the Moog stuff. I guess I'll find out if it's garbage on my own!

my parts are mixed. I have moog some other rockauto brands. I spent some decent money on ball joints but not enough OEM decent money. I am using proforged ball joints. THey get good reviews in the muscle car forums.

I've had bad luck with Moog on my 4runner. I've taken it all off, and even had a pitman arm, inspite of verifying many times that it was indeed the correct part number, would not fit at all. Called up NAPA and they got me one that fit on just perfectly.
Also Moog seems to wear out fast. Took it all off and used other brands and so far everything has stayed tight as a drum.

Also do this idler arm upgrade. No more replacing that plastic bushing, which is a big cause of slop in these things. Toyota IFS Idler Arm Upgrades
