new stereo, now clock doesnt work

So I had to rip apart my dash to get my stereo in, everything went great and works fine but now the clock doesn’t. I’m pretty sure I plugged everything back in correctly since I ripped it apart the next day to see if I was missing anything and route the AUX cord. All the plugs were put back near the clock including the (air bag, rear window, power switch, etc..)

Anyone have this issue before?

Check to make sure you actually plugged it into the correct connector. There's a "dummy" one for some reason, and it fools a lot of folks.

Been there, done that......twice. :dammit:

They must put that there for models that don't get the same clock module or something, just to keep the wire from flopping around. I'm going to fill the damn thing with superglue so I don't make that mistake again. :witch:

Also make sure the connector has clicked in fully. IIRC the harness for that connector is not super long, so it can tough getting it plugged back in while at the same time putting the dash panel back on.

Do you just get no power at all to the clock, or is it displaying incorrectly?

I get no power to the clock, I have a feeling i went into the dummy one.

Yup, same exact thing happened when I installed my stereo. I bet you're in the wrong connector as well.
