New Tacoma TRD Pro to Debut in Chicago?

That's a pretty aggressive lift for a production 'yota.

...low 40s?

I'm sure they'll sell all they make, but that's damn obscene.

You can get an LE for that and lift it.

T4R TRD Pro MSRPs at 41k (less than the limited) and the Tundra at 42k, so I'm guessing right around 36k.

This makes more sense than a random guess that I saw somewhere on the interwebs... I stand corrected.

I love that cement color! This could possibly be the replacement for my 4th gen. All it really needs is tires, tint, and me.

I also read somewhere that the 2017 4Runner will be available with the cement color as well. 2017 could be an expensive year for me.

I am betting at least 40k. The TRD offroad package Tacoma is already pushing 40k.

Check out toyota.com the TRD offroad 4wd DBSB before you get to any packages is 35k for the auto and 33k for the manual.

The T4R Trail Premium starts at 39k while the T4R PRO starts at 41k, so I can't see the taco making that big of a jump when the T4R doesn't. And I have no idea how to compare the Tundra models but there are two models of that truck that are more expensive than the PRO.

If I'm wrong I'll owe you a beer, but only payable in Phoenix :D

Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro priced at $41,700 - Autoblog

One of the big reveals at this year's Chicago Auto Show was the new version of the Tacoma TRD Pro. The Tacoma TRD Pro is designed to offer an extra level of off-road capability and a more aggressive look than lesser Tacoma models. Now we know that it can all be yours starting at $41,700 with a manual and $43,700 with an automatic.

That's not a small sum by any measure, especially when you look at the TRD Off-Road model, which starts at $34,010 with a Double Cab and manual transmission. Paying the extra dough for the Pro model does provide you some nice goodies, both aesthetic and functional. Immediately apparent is the one-inch wider track front and rear, one-inch lift at the front and TRD-exclusive grille and badging. The Tacoma TRD Pro also gets front and rear lights with black bezels and RIGID Industries LED fog lights. Underneath you'll find a quarter-inch thick aluminum skid plate for fending off rocks and special FOX internal bypass off-road shocks. Those shocks are supported with TRD-tuned springs. To cap things off, the Pro also comes with some exclusive interior accents and a TRD cat-back exhaust to ensure you sound better, or at least louder, when hitting the trails.

All of those extras are added on top of the standard off-roading equipment the TRD Pro shares with the TRD Off-Road model. This means they both get the same four-wheel drive, electronic locking rear differential, active traction control, tow package and hill start assist features. They also both get the same "CRAWL" control system for assisting with tricky trails when ordered with an automatic. If you need the extra capability or prefer the style, the Pro is a worthwhile choice. Most buyers, though, would probably be better off with an extra $7,000 in their pocket.
