New tire iron for Methods?

So last weekend when installing coils I found out the tire iron that came with my car does not work on my Method NV's, anyone with similar wheels care to suggest a tire iron? Glad I didn't find out the hard way...

Are you talking about the lug key? You're trying to use the factory lug key with aftermarket lugs?

I had to do the same after upgrading wheels on my FJ. Found a collapsible wrench at Autozone that has sockets for multiple sizes and fits in the stock cubby hole. Just figure out what size(s) you need and read the packaging.

I have a breaker bar, 6 inch extension and a impact socket in the truck for mine.

Why do you guys have so many things to take off a lug nut? If you want to be sure, just order the correct socket from the wheel or lug manufacturer. The lugs will come with a key. Some are thin walled sockets you could probably find at a hardware store.

Breaker bar, lugnet socket and a socket for the lugnet socket. All goes together as a wrench. Aftermarket gorilla brand lugnuts are most popular

Since you have a plug i. The rear find you a electric impact wrench a small extension cord and look to harbor freight for teflon lined lug nut sockets for the impact. All in about $130 or close to it. Depends on the wrench you buy.

Otherwise the Gorilla is great too.

Thank you all for the replies, I think I'm going to get one of the thin walled gorilla wrenches and maybe look at getting an impact wrench to keep at home.
