well after a bunch of issues im finally getting my tires put on, i went with a set of the goodyear wrangler silent armors. Thanks to everyone who commented about them in all the tire threads. I first found a set of that tire used and then i went to put them on and they all had holes in them, so after pricing them out at all the local places, i went to tire rack and picked up a set of 4 for 535 ship to my door. plus there is a $40 rebate for goodyear tires through them now. anyone wants tires thats the place to go. ill post pics when they get mounted.
im going with the 255 75 17.

Why did you go with that size? I see there is a $69 per tire price difference between OEM size and 255 75 17. I hope the tires do not look too skinny, we all look forward to the pix.

Nice! I was checking these out at the tire place the other day while I was getting my Cooper Discoverer ATR's rotated and balanced (loooong overdue rotation, had a vibe, now gone).

I like the look of them and that they are sever winter rated.

This is a road only vehicle for me, no wheeling, but we have long, snowy winters and I drive on a lot of dirt roads so a good tread is very important….. but a BFG AT, or Nitto TG would be overkill.

I'll get another year out of my Coopers (where near new on the truck when I bought it last Sept.) but these Goodyears will be getting a hard look from me as replacements.

well i tested them in some mud yesteday and was very happy with how they handled. i just went through some water and mud. in 2 wheel drive it got me through the first puddle/hole, then i tryed to turn out of some ruts and i couldnt get the wheels to spin. so i clicked in 4 high and she pullled right out. there is a little road noise on the street but going from a stock tire to and at you should expect that. ill try to get pics up soon, i have to fine my camara.
