new to 4runner

so i just got a brand new urbanrunner with the xreas its v6 2wd. This is my first 4runner and I'm interested in adding some aftermarket parts to dress it up a little bit. I'm not very knowledgeable in this area, so im looking for a few suggestions on what i could add to my 4runner.

not too much off road stuff...i live in south florida so theres not too many places for that. Just used as a typical car for getting wear i need to go. I would like to possibly lift it but it has the xreas on it so I don't know if i should look into that especially since I wont be doing any off road stuff.
 
Talk to Josh0220 (i think those are the numbers after his name) he recently added a cornfed 3/2 lift which lifts the front 3" and the rear 2" to remove the rake.

He also had 2/1 so he can offer you advice on both of those

you are limited to spacer lift with x-reas

go to burtmanindustries.com to purchase the lift

I personally fully upgraded the audio system from the insufficient stock one....alll depends on what you want

alright thanks for the help...am i going to need bigger tires too for this right now i got 18 inch tires

i think you mean you have 18" rims. you looking to go bigger on those as well?
 
With Xreas the easiest way to lift it is with Spacers. You can go with a 1" front leveling kit, or go with a 2" front/ 1" rear, and there is also a 3" front /2" rear. Like
eskimochaos said, I have had both, and it also depends on whether you want to upsize your tires. The 2/1 looks alright with stock wheels, but the 3/2 you will want to go with larger tires to fill the wheel wells.

As for other modifications, how about tinting your windows, adding a skid plate, or vent visors? Also, if you plan on keeping the stock exhaust, a Valor Exhaust Tip helps cover the nasty rusty looking stock pipe.

i think im gonna go with the 3/2 lift an get the spacers i will probably have a shop put them on for me..since i will be needing bigger tires i think im gonna get black rims as well

Wheel spacers, no. I am still in the process of canceling them, but it's taking forever because Jason Burtman has been horrible with communication lately. I was talking about the Spacer Lift, not wheel spacers.

I know what you were referring too, just looking at your sig and it says "spacers in the mail"

you made the right decision, i wouldnt want to put any unnecessary stress on the driveline

I may even take out my Cornfed Spacers in the future and go with a full setup, but I'd be looking at close to $2,000 so I'm waiting for a bit.

I hear ya. Im debating trading my 4r for my mom's 04 land cruiser when it comes off lease.....I have 1 year to decide.

Because it gets super expensive to do it and you have limited options for lifts mostly custom there is a couple around you can search total chaos or chaos editon I think is his screen name his 4runner is pretty dope.

Anything more than 3" would add additional stress to the CV angles and additional precautions would need to be taken. Spacers top out at 3" and it's the cheapest way to give your 4R a lift. If you want to get more than 3" would involve a lot more modding. There are a few members with bigger lifts: Good Times, Alex Jet and Bala de Plata. Bala's 4R is also a 2WD.

IMO, all three have some very nicely modded off-roading machines.

I'm sorry, but no they do not top out at 3". But I agree with the rest.
