New to me 4Runner

Just picked up a "new to me" 2010 4Runner SR5. I absolutely love it but that is no surprise. I owned an 08 Limited, which I recently had to part with due to divorce, and my father is still wheeling an 04 V8 Limited with ~250,000 miles on the ticker. Just thought I'd share and say thank you to the T4R.org. I've spent many hours reading, studing, researching, just plain killing time on here and I've learned a ton. I truly appreciate all the input and information provided that gets posted here. I only wish I could give back to all of you as much as you've given to me. Thank you!

Enough with that little novel of appreciation... Quick rundown of my newest baby. Ever since the loss of my 2008 I've been dreaming of climbing back into a Runner. Sleepless nights, nightmares, withdrawals... It wasn't pretty. After recovering a bit financially from the divorce I set a budget of 25G out the door price and patiently stalked the internet and local stealerships as I had an unwarranted, other than "I want", list of requirements. I finally found her. A 2010 Black SR5 4WD with sunroof, and heated leather. No real modifications as of yet. Just a new air filter, Mobil 1 oil, new wipers, Techstream, and two extra keys. Near future upgrade will be wheels and Goodyear Duratracs. The mod list is long, but I'll pursue it as budget warrants. For now I'm stoked just to be behind the wheel of a 4Runner again.

No better place than here to share my excitement. I don't have any spectacular pictures yet, and she is your run of the mill 4Runner at the moment, but I'll post some soon.

Parade of badass (imo) Japanese vehicles. 03 Maxima Titanium Edition 6 speed, 2010 4Runner, and in the back a 2014 Mitsubishi Evo MR touring edition

Both if she's hot?

To the OP, good looking car! I just got a black 4Runner last week. Hard to keep clean but man are they jaw droppers. Glad you can put those sleepless nights behind you!
I agree.. there is just something about black vehicles. The 4 vehicles I have now (03 Maxima, 07 Saab 9 3 aero, 2014 Mazda 6, and the Runner) are all black. I considered other colors, but am thrilled I found a black one. Definitely a beotch to keep clean though, especially in central NY state.

I'm the opposite. I go white on all my vehicles...then do black wheels...emblems, etc

Divorce sucks brother. Trust me, my heart goes out to you. Been/am there and it just sucks.

I recommend you play my favorite band, Pearl Jams song Rear View Mirror. Crank it up loud and put her in your rear view mirror. That is exactly what I am doing right now in my life too.

Tomorrow is a new day brother. Be strong.

I've never owned white, but my second color choice for the 4runner was Pearl white. White looks amazing on the right vehicle and it enables you to contrast with a secondary color. I LOVE the new NISMO 370Z in pearl white!
