New to T4R

Hey guys,

Bought my 4Runner back in December and loving it! Its a 1999 SR5 4x4 with 126,000 miles on it. Everything is in good condition...except the rear bumper (rust has taken it over). I have done only minor things to it (15% tint, plasti-dip emblems and a few other small things). I have many mods that I am wanting to do. But first, I need a new rear bumper....any ideas?

P.S. I will get some better pics posted soon, only pics I have are from my phone.

Welcome! I dig the white Runners. Definitely get some better (and bigger) pics up when you get a chance.

As far as your bumper, where are you located? Are you looking to replace it with a stock one or are you thinking an aftermarket one?

Keep an eye out for people parting out their 4runners. You can probably snag a bumper for pretty cheap. I think I sold my old one for like $40, and the shipping was fairly cheap too.

Welcome to the site! Looks like you got a good deal! Definately post up some bigger pics! I would also suggest looking for the part-outs....you could snag a good deal!

Here are some better pics..

I am looking for a good condition OEM rear bumper, so if you know of anyone wanting to get rid of one PM me. I also just ordered the Kenwood DPX-308U double din from Crutchfield. Hopefully it will be here on Monday so I can get it put in. I think my next mod after the bumper will be either wheels or new springs and shocks...but I have no idea on which way to head for either of those items.

Nice 4Runner man. As for the pictures, I suggest using Imageshack. I've always has trouble with Photo Bucket.
