Hey everyone.
I just got a 2010 4x4 SR5 4Runner and I'm excited to join T4R.org.
I'm totally new to 4Runners, but I've been having a great time modding Toyotas for several years. I started with an FJ in 2007, and was part of the very beginning of FJ offroad mods with a 6" lift, 35's, bumper, etc. I loved the FJ but after adding everything to it I was slugging around town at around 8mpg and I needed something else.
I moved to a lowered IS350 but I quickly realized what should have been obvious... a lowered IS350 is not a truck.
I got into a 2009 4x4 5.7 Tundra and added a lift/35's/exhaust. I loved the Tundra but I am moving to downtown Los Angeles in the next week and I had serious doubts about getting around the city/parking garages/etc. with the size of a lifted Tundra, so I sold it.
and here we are - now I'm in a 4Runner.
I haven't decided what I want to do with the 4Runner, but I plan on keeping it for the long haul. It looks like just about everything has already been covered on here - so I'm anxious to get started and looking forward to being a contributing member. Cheers.
