Hi Everyone,
I just traded in my BMW and bought a 2006 T4R Sport Edition 4WD. I wanted something more reliable, with more room and able to make it up the mountain or go off-roading when I want to. I have attached some photos of when I bought it and when I took it on some trails. Its kinds of a big adjustment for me to go from a performance car to this but its nice having the functionality to do whatever I want. I am a total car/ truck enthusiast, I was an automotive technician for 9 years with Volkswagen and Porsche. I no longer work on cars for a living but I love doing it on my spare time.
I have been trolling the forum for a few weeks now and have been getting some great ideas on what I want to do to it. I have only had it for about 3 weeks now and I have already tinted the windows, order a 3inch suspension lift, a differential drop and HID's, next will be wheels and all-terrain tires. Once installed I will post pics in the lift and tire thread.
I am not sure how many people from here live in SoCal but I would love to meet up sometime and hit the trails. I am new to California and hopefully I can go experience more of what California has to offer with this SUV.
