New tool for Christmas!

Since I used all of my Christmas bonus to buy my wife, son and other family gifts, I figured why not spoil myself a little bit.

I have a Milwaukee 1/2" cordless impact that is rated at 450 ft/lbs. I haven't found a bolt that it couldn't break lose yet. In fact, it snapped in half one of the bolts that secure the tow hooks that was rusted on!

Not being satisfied with an already excellent tool, I decided to upgrade.

I bought this!

This is the brushless "fuel" Milwaukee impact. This bad boy is rated at 1100 ft/lbs!

Cannot wait to blast off some more rusty bolts in the near future!

That's a badass impact. I have makita set, so in future I'll be buying a makita one. Since I have batteries already
 
Yeah I have a bunch of Milwaukee stuff so that's why I went with another impact from them.

I actually have a Bosch 1/2" compact impact too. It has the wireless charging and will also accept a hex bit in the same 1/2" chuck. I use it all the time, in fact, way more than the big impact.

I'll make a video of me blasting off some 83 ft/lb torqued lug nuts with this new impact soon and post it on here. My old one worked fine too but it would take about 2-3 seconds for them to finally break loose.

I've read you have to be careful using this 1100 ft/lb monster because it likes to snap bolts really quick!
 
Milwaukee Fuel with 210ft-lbs???? That's cute.

Metabo, smaller size...305ft lbs with this battery.


Not being a douche, just showing off. This thing is very compact compared to its competitors.

Also, just noticed that the Milwaukee was 3/8".

Not as cool but my brother picked me up this pivoting ratcheting wrench set. Been really needing a set like this.

I bought myself an early Christmas present. I've been acquiring so many new tools that I needed a second toolbox to hold everything and be a little more organized. I got this one at Harbor Freight. Nice box for $200:

Milwaukee fan here as well. I have the old Milwaukee 450 ft/lb impact, too. It's been an amazing tool. Been wanting to upgrade but will wait a while. Wanting to get the new Surge Fuel 1/4" Hex Hydraulic Brushless Driver for work.

Also, been wanting this workbench
 
I also got a 1/2" cordless impact for Christmas! Mines a DeWalt, but not gonna be picky since I didn't have a cordless one before! Can't wait to put it to work on my 4Runner!

I have the Craftsman C3 batts so I won a 1/2" Impact for my Christmas present.

Mild steel mostly nothing larger than 3" square at 3/16" - which 3" at +\- 45 degrees is the max with the 14" blade.

I have a new Bosch jigsaw, they're great. I like Bosch stuff quite a bit, love the 10a angle grinder.

Yeah in my profession I have been around steel all my life. I like woodworking as a hobby.
