New TRD Wheels... Might look good on a 3rd Gen

I haven't seen these before. What do you think? The seller has them advertised as TRD rims, but they might just be Toyota... not sure.

My initial thoughts are that they look damn good!

A lot of Tundra limited and TRD's from the 2014 up models have these type of wheels.

IMO the new TRD Pro wheels are pretty nice, here is a pic of them on my brothers 4th gen.

It really just comes down to taste on cosmetics like wheels. I don't think they look bad at all, but I would still prefer some other aftermarket wheel over that particular wheel. I guess it reminds me of wheels I see on Subaru Crosstreks. Of course, it might look way better with a more aggressive tire mounted on a good looking vehicle.

One other item, would be sizing. Would it clear Tundra calipers? What is the width? It seems like some of these OME wheels are a something less than 8" wide. Would you need to run spacers to make this wheel work?

Those wheels are hideous and would look terrible on a 3rd gen.

MAYBE they'd look decent if they were a single color. I doubt it.

I've got the TRD Pro 4Runner wheels on my 98 with 285 Allterrains. They look great in my opinion.

Those are quite ugly, there are many other "in house" options to choose from that are alot better

I do like the combination of silver and dark gray on some of the newer wheels. Silver wheels are sort of out of style now, but I don't like all-black as you can't see any detail in the wheel itself. That said, I still like the Tundra split spokes in anthracite gray more than any other wheel.

Thanks Bud! I appreciate the kind words! Ill be sure to do just that. Ive got more pictures to post that I have yet to upload. That picture is with no wheel spacers. The wheels tuck in the wells about .75" I recently put 1.25" spidertrax spacers on which make them sit perfectly with about .5" poking out.

I agree. Not a classic look at all. The Stars were the last pretty wheel Toyota made.

Sad to say but some wheels only look good in black, which makes them look forgotten under the vehicle. I'm old school obviously...

Those wheels aren't TRD specific, they are new on the TRD Offroad package for the 16' Tacoma only.

Seems like everyone is jumping on board with this trend that (I think) Subaru got started with the Crosstrek. Jeep has several wheels in this style too. I'm not so sure these would work well on a 3rd gen 4Runner, but you never know...
