New Truck with No Master Key - Solved For About $70

So I got a new-to-me 2003 V8 SR5 in awesome shape for only $6K! The bad news is the previous owner did not have a master key for the truck. I have the OBDII to USB cable and the techstream software but I was unable to program a new key the dealer cut for me ($40) because I had no master. I've read all about people having to get a new ECU when you lose all the master keys but the techstream software allows you to program a new master key if you have the right techstream membership to take the VIN and seed number to generate a 6 digit passcode. This membership is not easy to get.

This left me with having to go to the stealership to have this done and I'm sure they'd charge me a fortune for it. So...I found a website that calculates the reset code for you. I rolled the dice with the shady-looking website and paid $27 for 5 tokens (they don't sell just one) and IT WORKED!

I input all the info on the website and the code was accepted by the techstream software. The reset took 15 minutes and the immobilizer accepted my new key from the dealer as the new master key. If you're not in a hurry and you need to program a new master key this is a great option IMO. Let me know if you have any questions, I searched and didn't see anyone else mention going this route, only having a locksmith flash their ECU or going to the dealer.

I went to this site to get the code: LEXUS, SCION, TOYOTA PASSCODE CALCULATOR / GENERATOR: Calculate Pass-code by Seed number | Immobilizer Pincode Calculator (official website)

I didn't post it initially because people could use this to steal a car but the dealer won't cut a key without proof of ownership.
