Go easy on me, first time using a forum... hopefuly this works. If this goes right, you'll be looking at some of my first pics that I took of my '04 T4R ascending Pike's Peak.... More to come when I get the hang of this. I'll also later detail my mod's.

OMG! BE CAREFUL! When you go uphill you can't see where you are going because of the hood scoop...

Oh, wait, you can see where you are going. Whew, nevermind. Just Car and Driver being HUA (Head Up A**).

BTW, very nice pics. Let's here about the mods!

Hey RockezT4R,
Are you from the local area? I live in Colorado Springs, which for the geographically challenged, sits at the base of Pikes Peak. We ought to get a group of 4Runner owners together sometime and take a convoy to the summit up the Toll Road. (yes folks, anyone can drive to the top... )

Last I checked it's $10bucks/adults $5/(children(6-15) or a flat $35 fee for a carload. Not exactly a cheap drive, but the views on a clear day are great. You can also ride the cog railway from Manitou Springs if you'd rather save the wear on your vehicle.

See: http://www.pikespeakcolorado.com/GeneralInformation.htm for more info... Come visit.

Appreciate the comments! And here's some pics of the aftermath from a little trip to Pueblo, Colorado's "PMI" (an endless supply of dirt roads and mud puddles) better pics from that trip soon, plus would like some advice on how and where to post vid clips from my little trip...

As far as mod's go:
Everything the '04 sport edition comes with, and...
~30% tint front doors
~3M clear bra (entire front end including mirrors)
~Hella 500's
~rain/wind deflectors
~XM satellite radio
~switched out factory sub with a Memphis 8" sub & amp (just a little bump, not ear piercing)
~Dynamat in doors (among other benefits, eliminated that hollow ding noise you get when you open the doors and the handle flips back) and entire rear end.
~T4R sticker (at least a 15 HP gain)
~debadged tailgate
~remote start
and more mods soon...

...one more pic

Bryancos--
I wouldn't at all mind a t4r gathering here in the springs, preferably to rampart range road, or, something else a little more exciting that I am unaware of... I'm not at all "dissing" Pike's Peak toll road, it is a gorgeous, rewarding drive, I'm just looking to do something I haven't done yet...

Nice truck. Excellent choice of color. :-) You'll appreciate the white when it comes time to touchup the paint.
