New vibration/noise. Need help

This has happened on 2 occasions now and both have been in high wind (20-30mph) at interstate speed (65-75mph).

My truck will literally sound like an exhaust break on an 18 wheeler. Thats the best way I know to describe it. Its running fine and stops when I slow down a bit. The noise is definitely forward of the cab. It doesn't make the truck unstable or anything and always stops when I slow down.

Any ideas?

Flexing?

So you're sayin' it otherwise runs OK? Does power diminish when this sound is heard? so it sounds like a big rig using its engine brake? that is loud. all I can think of is some kind of exhaust leak that comes at a point where the engine is under stress (high speed w/high wind) and something is flexing. toyo's exhaust piping does leave a fair amount to be desired....

Yea. No loss of power. I always back out of the throttle cause it's a little scary. Lol but yea it's running normally. Rpms stay steady and the ride doesn't become unstable. It's just loud.

or maybe its something loose

well that is good engine output is not affected. will it do it right away again if you proceed to speed up again?

Now I would check for loose fender well parts. Could be a plastic skirt just forward of either left/right tire that is pulling back with the wind and hitting your tire, that made an awful noise on mine when it got loose. what else could do this-anyone?

It may or may not if it again if I speed back up. It did a little yesterday then I just slowed down til I got where I was going.

But no problems doing 75 on my way to work this morning.
