New Weathertech Floor Liners arrived

I also just got Weathertech mats! Got them for the front only and went w/ Husky for the cargo liner. The front mats are great, however the driver's side has a bent right where the mat overlaps the rocker scuff plate...I thought it would settle down and lay flat after a few days but it has not. I may heat it up w/ a hair dryer tonight and see if I can mold it, if not, it's going back for a replacement. Anyone else have spots that are not quite molded right?
 
My front mats seem to fit just fine so you might have got a bad one.

My order took approx 3 weeks direct from Weathertech too. They are made to order so that explains the delay. Cabela's sells them too under their own name and they also state they are made to order.
 
Darn, that eBay deal looks pretty good (depending on what the reserve ends up being of course).

The Weathertechs and the Wet Okole seat covers I decided to invest in have proven to be excellent. Both keep everything looking pretty much brand new. Makes me wonder why I ever bothered with the carpet/rubber floor mats. I figured that the price of both has got to be worth it considering what car valets charge to clean up truck upholstery.
 
Holy smokes! I ordered Monday afternoon and I just received the rear mat. I was curious why I didn't get the fronts, so I called in and the guy that answered was super nice and immediately sent me the tracking for the fronts. Should be here tomorrow. I HIGHLY recommend autoaccessoriesgarage.com.

Yes, mine came in in 2 days also. I thought that was great!

Also, regarding the ebay listing. I searched ebay for a while, but never had any luck. Looks like that set finally brought 154.00. And they were used!

This company sells them new for 166.41 (with the 10% discount) including the shipping, so I would just as soon order new.

I order mine, including the trunk liner (I have a chocolate lab who will see a lot of time back there),

I'm glad to see everyone likes them. Can't wait till they finally arrive.
 
I ordered the rear and cargo liner from Auto Accessories Garage today too. Saved 20 bux over getting them from Weathertech direct.

Agreed. I've had mine in for little over a year now (front/rear/cargo) and of course the driver's seat has seen the most use...and mine has no signs of wear, period. This is a daily driver too - not a Sunday car.

And talk about cost, I ordered all 3 (front/rear/cargo) floor liners and all 4 in-channel visors from WeatherTech all at the same whack when I got mt T4R back in Dec '08...rang up quite the bill, but each piece has been well worth it IMO and I'd do it again tomorrow if something happened to my 4Runner.

I have their floor liners and visors on all my vehicles now - my 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer (work truck), my 2000 Tundra (yard/tow truck) and of course my '08 4Runner. The wife wants me to find out if they make them for her car yet (2009 Pontiac G8 GT)...so I guess I am about to drop even more on front/rear set if the make them. High quality stuff, highly recommended.:trophy:

Nice car, I love the G8. A guy I know that put in a posi unit in my Mustang recently has a G8 GXP with 6 speed manual. Nice looking car. And 415 horsepower would be fun too.

Been a long time since I owned a vehicle like that.

I've never owned or driven a car with the in-channel visors. In fact I'm not sure I've even seen one in person. Sorry for a dumb question...but what exactly are they for?
 
You know, the vent visor you put on a car/truck that allows you to crack your window a little, but keeps rain out. Most are the stick on type that use double sided tape, but they also make them that slide into the window channel. They look a lot better.

But on that note, the last in-channel ones I used on my 06 Tundra double cab caused the driver side window regulator to get slack in it. I think it may have stretched something and the symptom afterwards was the window would "jump" down when you first rolled it down. It would fall about an inch. I never took the door panel off to see what it was because I leased the vehicle and didn't plan on keeping it after the lease. It has kinda scared me though on in-channel visors. I plan to keep the 4runner a while, and when I bought the vent visors, I got the regular stick on type.

OK, I figured it had something to do with rain. Thanks for the answer. Since we get so little rain, and only in the colder winter months it's no wonder I've never seen one.
 
I have the AVS (?) widow visor thingies, stick on type, they came with the truck. First time I've had them on a vehicle and I LOVE them. SO great with a dog, you can crack the windows even when it's raining.
