Looks really good man, nice and unique. Those KM2's are beastly!
I like the tint too, I think I'm gonna take my runner in to get the fronts tinted and I'll see what the back is and whether or not 35% or 20% will match the best. I've seen both and they seem to match but hopefully they have the reader thing that can tell me what the back tint is so I can match it perfectly.

I am moving to the 285/70/17 KM2's from a 31x10.5R15 BFG MT KM and I'll give you some of the differences:
Balancing:
KM- took an average of 3.5oz on each side of each wheel
KM2- no lip took more than a 1.25oz weight
Road Noise:
The KM2's sound louder, but I think it's only because my previous tires were worn down to about 4/32nds, which would absolutely quite them down a bit.
Ride:
Such a smoother ride, tires don't feel out of balance like the original KM. They would shake even when perfectly balanced. KM2's are smooth and handle better even with the extra 2" of rubber from my previous 31" tire
Treadwear:
Well I can't say much for the KM2, but the KM gave me 55k miles without any problems.
Traction:
Never got stuck. I pulled out Hummers, Tahoes, Wranglers, Explorers, even stuck tow trucks. Can't wait to see what the KM2 can do!
I would recommend NO OTHER TIRE to anyone, pavement pounder or serious off roader. Grocery getter or dune runner.
BFG MudTerrain T/A KM2 owns. Period.

Interesting. I wonder which would get the most miles, the BFG ATs or the KM2s.
I like the look of the MTs, but need them to last a while.

Okay well the wheels were purchased on EBay, set of 4 from an 06 Tundra, in hyper silver.
Step 1 was to strip all the road grime, dirt, old paint off, so I took the wheels into work and sand balasted them, and then cleaned off any residue left with rubbing alcohol.
Step 2 was to prime the metal. I used standard automotive grade primer, 2.99 a can or whatever.
Step 3 was to spray the lip red. Used Hi-Temp Engine paint, because it's made to stick to shitty metal, not like a nice flat body panel, but a pitted oily metal wheel. Obviously some other areas got hit with red as well, but no biggie, it's getting painted over. I used 2 cans for the 4 wheels, which is about a half of a can per lip...its a good 10 coats...overkill much? After spraying the lips, I baked the wheels in an old electric oven that I garbage-picked from someone hahaha
Step 4, once the red coats were dry, all the lips got taped off with masking tape (hardest part of the whole process was getting all the tape straight)
Step 5, when the lips were all taped off, it was finally time to spray the faces of the wheels with the same Hi-Temp Engine paint, but this time i used Semi-Gloss Black. This time I used an entire can for each wheel, making sure the sides of each spoke was covered, even sprayed the back of the spokes and the inside of the wheel. Again, baked each wheel in the oven afterwards.
Step 6, I cleaned each wheel thoroughly with glass cleaner because it evaporates completely and leaves no residue. Then I applied the TRD logos to each wheel, each measured out with a template I made on the top spoke, opposite the tire valve.
Step 7 was to finally clear coat the wheels and bake them once more.

I say keep the running boards if you like them and use them. You have the black boards so they are not even that noticable.

I'm overtaken by jealousy! As far as running boards go...I'm 5'8" and my wife's 5'2" and my daughter's only 4 years old and I have another girl on the way so it's lookin' like the running boards are staying on for a while! Oh well

you guys are awesome! I'm glad everyone likes my truck, especailly the wheels, I would say I spent a good 36 hours of actual working on the wheels, so it's cool to see all that work pay off in some awesome compliments

I scored a set of Sequoia 17s from a Limited so it's Gunmetal in color which I love so I think ill keep that color to set my truck and your truck apart should there be any mix up when the pictures are up.
