New Wheels

I had some free time yesterday so I decided to take the wheels and tires off of my Tacoma and see if they would fit on my 4Runner. I didn't think they would. The wheels are 17x9 Ballistic Jesters and the Tires and Cooper Discoverer AT3 275/70/17 which is 32.2" tall. I surprised to find that they fit and only slightly rub on the running board. I really like the look but now I've got to find something to put on the Tacoma so I can sell it. I'm thinking of painting the 4Runner wheels black and putting 285/75s on them.

These are modified Jesters. I removed the red inserts and painted the silver knobs on the perimeter of the rim black.

I don't think they look too bad. I'm not always a huge fan of black wheels, but I think with the accents you have it came out good. It breaks the look up so it doesn't look dirty all the time.

I say take one of the running boards off and see how it looks. I love those stock 5's and think they look good on there with the running boards, but with the other wheels, I think it would look better without them.
