New wheels :-)

So I went into this mod to make it a tribute, more or less, to my first trail that i never should've traded on a new F150. Last June after realizing the error of my ways, and crawling out of the buyers remorse imparted by the f150, I found the only silver TE for sale in FL. I've grown to like the refresh, and I LOVE how KDSS tightens up the over behavior of the vehicle. Like most of us though it wasn't long until the mods began.
- led interior, fog, and reverse lights
- hid low beams (thanks XenonDepot for the incredible customer service)
- bilstein 5100's 1.25 lift
- 2011 Trail roof racks
- 2011 slide-out tray

But after having the 20" fuel savages on for a couple months I decided they weren't quite the look I wanted. The advantage to them was they didn't rub at all with the +1 offset, but the gloss black wasn't giving the "pop" that I wanted and the tires weren't aggressive enough for me.

Since Toyota colormatched the fender liner I decided the best way to bring it together was to move away from my all black wheel obsession to something with a bit more silver. After months of deliberating while on deployment I settled on these. 18" Mavericks on my beloved duratracs. I was a bit concerned since it's a fairy common wheel, but I was leaning toward simplicity, and it worked. Finally happy with it for now.

Up next will be the big mods. New bumpers, rear airbags, winch, compressor, dual battery, and a anti reflective application to the hood. I'd have all these done by now if I didn't have a boat, but hey, you can't help what ya love. Thanks everyone on the forum for the advice, and talking me into spending all my money!!
