Greetings all,
I picked up my first 4runner a couple months back and I'm looking to learn about them. Honestly I'm not even sure if it's a gen2 or gen3 model. I've been busy with work and haven't had it registered yet because it's not my daily driver. It has 194xxx miles on it at the moment and the engine is still in pretty good shape. The owner before me was a mechanic so he maintained the essentials. There are some little things; the cable for the spare on the underneath of the chassis is missing, a vent on the dash likes to fall out, a speaker is blown or not getting signal, etc., but I'm happy with the $1400 a spent on it for what it is. I'm about to leave on a "busy trip" to Afghanistan and I'm trying to make a laundry list of things to fix while I'm over there. Thanks in advance for any help because I know I'm going to have a lot of questions.
