New Year, new law here in Illinois

I just want to share what I heard from the local radio station, and searched the Secretary of State website and found the press release. They said that all passengers (front and back)must be wearing seatbelt. If not, police will issue a ticket worth $25.00 for not wearing a safety belt.

Public Act 97-0016 requires safety belt use for all backseat passengers. Prior to this change,
only front seat passengers were required to wear a safety belt under the state’s primary safety belt
law.

In Ga you don't have to in the back seat but my truck doesnt move unless everyone is buckled up.

I had a 98 T4R and someone pulled out in front of me. I was doing 65 MPH. If me, my mom, sister and girlfriend didn't have out seat belts on we most likely would have walked away without a scratch. With the truck being so awesome and safe, and us not having out seatbelt on, it may not have turned out like it did.
