Newb question???

I have an 03 runner and want to put on Bilstein 5100 adjustables set to the 2.5 inch mark. Besides doing an alignment what other issues may I run into?? I also have some 265/70/17 General AT2s.

One issue that comes to mind is you're then going to end up wanting to lift the rear a wee bit to go with the front, and then all your mods will snowball from there. This forum is bad for your wallet, ask me how I know.

After you have the work done, check the CV boots after about 20 miles or so of driving. Sometimes the increased driveline angle can cause them to slip up the axle shaft which will make them leak where the boot meets the axle shaft. In the event this happens, replace the OE clamps with hose clamps, marine clamps work best. You might find the clamps before you do the work instead of having to drive around gods green earth with leaking CV joints to find them in the correct size. I ended up using regular hose clamps. 25K miles and no problems yet.
