I'm the proud new owner of a very well kept 2001 4R SR5. I have always admired the trucks and was finally able to put one in the stable. Problem is, the driver's seat needs another inch or two of slide in the tracks to allow me to stretch my legs out a little more and be comfortable while driving. Has anyone successfully attempted such a mod, and can you offer some help? I was thinking about welding some longer steel to the forward brackets, and either shortening the rear brackets (or inserting spacers with longer mounting bolts) to allow the entire assembly to shift rearward some more. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
