Very new to working on vehicles, so please be patient while I learn. 1998 4runner 4x4 stock. Ride is a bit rough and several squeaks can be heard when driving over bumps. I want to change out the suspension. I don't need any lift, so was thinking of going with stock replacement parts. Or a better alternative?? Is there a kit I can order somewhere, been searching but haven't found any such kit. If not, I'd like to be certain I get all necessary parts. Does anyone have a parts list for such a job? Is it basically shocks, coils and bushings that should be replaced? Is this a DIY realistic? Any special tools required? The most I've done on vehicle is change brake pads and installed an airlift 1000 kit. Thanks for any help.
