The SC will have TRD on top of it and there's really isn't another SC on the market for 4Runners.
It is a factory piece and is for the most part reliable but fuel mods if not done will help it's longevity and you have to use premium fuel with it.
If you can find out how long the SC has been on thier if it wasn't on when new.
Mileage really depends on how you drive it but the SC and a light foot won't change overall mileage too much if any at all.

I know it's a TRD SC, but I didn't phrae my question well enough. Did the SCs come direct from the factory on new vehicles. That's what the salesman led me to believe about this one? And if so, is there any way to tell if this vehicle was equiped with the SC off the lot?
And if the factory installed the SC do you suppose any fuel mods were added as well...is there a way to see if any fuel mods have been done - like a tell-tale sign when I'm looking in the engine compartment?
