I dont think dipping the hitch will be as effective as using some POR-15.
That was a suggestion that was given to me and that's what i've been reading on lately. Seems that when painting the hitch or rusted parts, POR-15 is the best way to go. if anyone could correct me if I'm wrong that'd be great :D ahhah

Looks Great man! Just one suggestion......as I wish I had done this.....spray the plastidip with some clear coat spray. Makes it easier to clean.......my lower valance is a PITA....wish I would have known that before installing it on my truck!

Is there a specific kind of clearcoat that works best? thanks duuude!

So Today I've been working on dipping the whole rear bumper and its taking longer than i thought it would.

Removing the bumper was a hassle though i was able to do it.

I prep'd the bumper by sanding it down and washing beforehand.

Sprayed about 3 coats on each piece(3pc)

and finished off with Clear coat.

I'm still in the process of doing it right now just taking a little break.

but it should be back on by the end of the day and will post pics tmmrw probably because it'll be dark tonight.(duh!)

Nice- Ive got everything to do the rest of the tan on mine, but i just cant seem to get myself to pull the trigger lol.. Cant wait to see the pics.

I used Rustoleum automotive enamel Gloss Protective clearcoat haha. It was the only one I saw at home depot. will post pic of the can too. but from when i finished it seemed like it looked pretty matte still just a little glossy'er but the sun was setting so it was getting darker will take a look tmmrw and post pics of the finished product in the sun haha.
