Newer LBJ’s grease coming out? Is that a concern?

So I replaced BOTH LBJ’s with OEM (from dealership) back in august 6 months ago 5k miles ago. I just noticed they have a little bit of what appears to be grease I’m assuming leaking?

Question is this normal?
If not do I need to be concerned?

Other than that they look in great shape.

Any insight is appreciated.

No the grease is not coming from anywhere else (not the cv’s). 99% sure it’s seeping out of the LBJs

There is some visible grease around the boot at the threaded stud. See my photos of brand new OEM parts straight from the dealership: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3693352-post33098.html

But I have not seen any grease anywhere on the truck or boot after installation. I don’t think you should see any grease seeping or anything once installed.

I actually have the exact same issue, I have less than 3k miles on my LBJs and my driverside has some grease coming out. Ill try to get a picture soon, but in the meantime I'm wondering if rebooting is worth it.

edit: I was lazy and didn't have the time so I gave it to a shop to change my cv-axles, I bet they ripped the boot when breaking the joint out. If you want something done right do it yourself.

Less than 3k miles on it and it’s leaking. I’ll probably end up swapping it with a new one and rebooting this one as a spare.

I poked around on this page the other day and saw a forum member talk about the Land Cruiser ball joint boot being compatible with the 4Runner LBJ's. Apparently he rebooted his ball joints with the new boots but I don't remember the conversation too well. It wasn't too long ago.

Edit: ArmArak posted it here. I didn't read the early comments.
