I was coming from my friends house at about 3 in the morning and i fell asleep in the highway... The damn thing saved my.life despite me going about 75 and going into a concrete wall

The next 3 or 4 months were getting rides to school, taking the bus, seeing other 3rd gens and remembering the smell of burn rubber and the air bags and the screeching sound of the car against the wall. All i got was a scratch.

But enough sadness!! This is a week prior to getting it back!

nice turn around! glad you made it out of that ok. rig is looking great! on of the better resurrections of a wrecked runner(or any toy for that matter) that i've seen. all of my buddies that have either wrecked or rolled their rigs either parted them out or truggied them.

Apreciate that man! I REALLY REALLY thought it well, to see if if keep it or sell and even though I'm sure it will never be exactly as it was before, I'm glad i kept it. Its history is invaluable!!!

On another note:

New sway bar bushings with grease fittings and new end links. Also greased my drive shaft which somewhat eliminated my clunk, and bent the annoying lip of metal on the front wheel well... I see a small (1) body lift in the near future...

if you're getting a "clunk" from the driveshaft, be sure to check your U joints! that's the sound you get when they're chowdered and about to go.

holy shit, i cant believe where it was after the accident and how it looks now.
i was getting confused while reading your thread thinking you bought another runner.

amazing.

i miss my black t4r now. HAHA

Hahahaha man, you know it kind of got messed up in the accident and the dumb body shop lost it but that would have been the best plate to put in this truck haha it truly never gives up ;)
