Saw this ad the other day and I immediately thought back to why I went with a 4runner...

They really makes you think of what you want in a truck.

I made a point to specifically look at SUVs/Trucks that were still body on frame. After deciding on an SUV, I narrowed it down to the Pathfinder and the 4Runner. And after realizing that there were only 2 pathfinders with 4x4 in all of GA it seemed, went and test drove the yota.

It's sad to see so many SUVs go the way of the car based chassis. But I guess it's understandable too. And even funnier is that the pathfinder in the commercial will be going that route too next year.

Long live the 4runner!

I think it's interesting that they made that commercial, seeing as how the new Pathfinder will no longer be based on a truck frame and will be a larger crossover.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that the other day. I guess advertise it while it's still true and hope no one notices the change?

Exactly what I thought myself. I told my wife how it is a huge :moon: when they are leaving the BOF design for the next model.
