The Xterra is a great platform, but like the FJ, it's target audience isn't huge to begin with. Jeep has been killing it with the 4 door JK and it is slowly killing off its competitors.

Sad really, because it actually is a great platform. If I didn't have the Runner and I couldn't replace it with another one for some reason, the Xterra would definitely be it's replacement.. The FJs are great but not enough room..

My buddy put over 300,000 miles on an 01; he got an 2011 Pro-4x to replace it. Nice ride, but not quite as comfy as a 4runner. Still quite off-road capable.

I almost bought a base model Xterra for about 25.5k out the door (instead of the TE).

4x4 BOF SUV for chump change. That's nothing to look down upon and it'll be sad when it's gone... because then come the Crossovers.
