Nitto Ridge Grappler?

The man at my local discount tire told me that the 33x12.5x17 is cheaper than the 285/70 but I'm worried they'll rub even with my Icon stage 2 lift. The 33x12.5 is about an inch wider...anybody have any thoughts on that?

$246 a piece. I just got the tires and the Toytec TRD lift installed today and the truck drives smooth as glass with theses tires and very low noise.

Can you see if you can get a weight on them before you get them installed? Curious if the 54lbs is accurate.

Just pulled the trigger on these in 285/70r17 (and new American Outlaw Bandit wheels with -10 offset.) To me, look like a great balanced tire for CO and better in snow and ice than full MT's while still great on rocks and dirt over a full AT.
But my big reason for choosing them is that I WANT range C's. I'm personally of the mind that D's and E's are overkill (and I've had plenty of them.) I had 35" C's on my LJ and did Chinaman among others here in CO no problem and the weight does matter as well as the ride in my opinion. The manufacturers are simply slimming what they have to make to fit all vehicles (trucks mostly and for towing / load bearing capacity not sidewall puncture strength...6 ply C is more than up to the task for 90% of that on 90% of trails.) But, those of us with built/lifted lighter vehicles pay the price in power, fuel, etc. And, as we know (I have a '99) you can't pull the 15" wheel route so all those choices and lower prices can't help us.
So with that in mind, and my lift (I have a 3" Toytech coilover plus an inch body) I set out to get either 285/75/r17's or 295/75/r17's. But, in a C...no go. Nitto's site says they are "coming soon" but the Discount guy called him and like the other manufacturers he's thinking they'll bail. So, 285/70/r17 it is in a C and I'll post pics when mounted.
Overall for those of us looking for C's...I suppose we should be grateful to Nitto for making these. Just look around for a C in a 285 anything in 16's, 17's, or 18's. This is rare and good in my opinion.

58.2 pounds for this tire. I would expect others could vary by up to a pound or less.
Nitto specs have them at 54 pounds each.

These could be my next. My KO2's vibrate above 75mph, the front passenger seat starts wobbling like mad. This is after 2 rebalances.
