I like fat tires and I cannot lie...

Truly just a personal taste. I did consider very seriously the 285/75 C and E rated...I just preferred the wider tire...and my local Discount called me and they had a full set already at their location from a canceled order.

I don't mind the trimming. The fender liner rub is not too frequent, and most of the lower areas have been trimmed. Not trimmed so far up that anything can fly into the door sill, but just enough. I'm going to try the fiberglass fenders anyways.

I've had them on my Jeep Wrangler in 37s for around 6k miles. They are great off and on road and in the snow/rain.

No issues balancing them and they're really quiet on the road. They do run a little small and about average in terms of weight.

I had 37s MTRs previously and they were a pain in the butt to balance (even with road force) and loud. They looked great and were absolutely awesome wheeling.

Also had duratracs in 33s/35s, great all season tire and pretty quiet. They run small but they're light in weight. Decent off road, but didn't really have much traction in wet conditions.

Hi Country 4x4 did my gears. They did a great job on this as well as some other work for me. One of the few shopswith a one year warranty on their work

I have read the Nitto Ridge Grappler? thread, and I'm looking for some long term reviews. For those of you who have been running these for a year or so since they came out, how are you liking them now? Anyone have over 10k miles on them? How are they holding up after all those miles?

I'm strongly considering the stock size (265/70/r17) on my stock SR5 wheels. Although, 265 E vs 285 C seems to not be a very big difference, in terms of mass, and I did just install a modest 2/1.5 lift... Hmmm....

I installed that exact size on my limited about 1,000 miles ago. C load. I like them a lot so far. I did have to use a heat gun to solve some rubbing at full lock in reverse.

Great tires on the street but never tried them off road. Had a 2017 Tacoma limited 4x4 with them and a 2005 4Runner SE 4x4 with them. Tire is both quiet and smooth.

285/70 C rated. Typically run either 39 PSI or 40 PSI on road.

10K miles as of today. Pretty quiet for a AT/MT hybrid. Taken on rocks, fire road but mostely pavement. A slight humming developed around 7.5K miles but not bad at all though noticeable change from when I first got them. Rotated every 5K miles. 14/32" of tread left (from 17/32" new)

I am happy with their performance on and off road. After rocks I defintely saw some chunking after running 16 PSI at Gold Lake. After some rocks/fire roads at Hollister OHV for EVOC and Recovery courses, a little more chunking but less severe than Gold Lake. Still doesnt look as bad as some pics I've seen from others.

No wet reviews as I change to winter tires Nov-Mar each year.

For reference, my offroad driving is to get from point A to point B. I use vehicle to go for remote camping and hunting. I drive with mechanical symptathy in mind.

265/75 on my 2016 tacoma. Awesome tires that have been great in sand, mud, and rain. No ice/snow down here in FL. Friend bought same size KO2 for his truck right before I got my ridge grapplers. After riding in my truck, he was pissed and said he'd wished he bought the ridge grapplers. Much quieter and better grip in rain than the KO2

i have the Ridge Grappler 285/75r17 on my 4runner.
Came highly recommended by my shop that usually does raptors. I inquired about a few other tires, and in the end i went with the Ridge Grapplers.

So far so good on my 4runner. Long term, i have to see
