I saw that. Heck of a good deal IMO. I ended up ordering the Toyo at2s instead for a little more because I wanted a quieter tire. Tread Depot has pretty similar prices. IIRC it was $630 for the 285 70 17 Cooper AT3s, and you still get a $70 rebate, so the net price would be $540.

They also have wheels with the same deal. $100 off any order over $400.

I'll post on Friday when my tires arrive. I've never used them before. I'll check the mfg date and such to see if they're old or something. They shipped with tracking numbers next day.

Hope it's not a huge pita to get em mounted.

Most of my shops want around $20 per tire to mount and balance them. One shop wants $10 plus $5 to remove the tires from my old wheels to get the TPMS sensor out of them. That seems like a great deal to me.

One shop told me that TPMS sensors cannot be moved from one wheel to another.

Just a heads up, the Toyo AT2's aren't exactly quite. I had them on a 3rd gen and never heard them but that's cause I always had loud music playing and it had a Flowmaster 40 series. Put now I have them on my pickup and I can hear them howling down the road. It's not ubearable but just thought I'd share this with you.

Just a heads up, the Toyo AT2's aren't exactly quite. I had them on a 3rd gen and never heard them but that's cause I always had loud music playing and it had a Flowmaster 40 series. Put now I have them on my pickup and I can hear them howling down the road. It's not ubearable but just thought I'd share this with you.

Thanks. I've heard mixed reviews. I hope they're quieter than the nittos. They're probably all the same except tread mold. If not I paid an extra $100 for a worse tire. Maybe I should have gone for the AT3s. We'll see how it goes. If I don't love em, I think I can probably sell them for pretty close to what I paid. Or put them on my other wheels and buy some full street tires, but then I'd rather have something more aggressive like Irok ND's for a 2nd set.

I like the look of the bfg rugged terrains, but with no siping I don't think they'll work for an all season tire. I really wanted some ATW's, but they're perpetually back ordered.

Oh they're a lot better than the Nittos, in wet conditions, offroad and the wear. Plus they look a whole lot better, I love my AT2s. I ran the Rugged Terrains for awhile in stock size on the 3rd Gen and always like them too, I put them through some sketchy stuff they always held up. I ran the Rugged Terrains in a snow storm we had a couple years back and even in 2wd I was going up hills most people were turning back on. I haven't ran the AT2s in the winter yet so Im not sure how they'll perform.
