Anyone in NJ, or neighboring parts of PA or NY, with 285/75R16 tires, may we meet somewhere so I can borrow one of your wheels just long enough to check fitment on my truck?
I just got this truck a few weeks ago and it has new 265/70R16 on there now, and it looks like there is enough room to go up to 285/75R16, but I only have the one set of rims and I'd like to check the fit instead of buying tires blind and having them mounted, meaning my current working ones dismounted, and just hoping it all works out. Even if they don't necessarily fit with no problems, it will show me what exactly I would need to make it.
I figure all I need is to take one wheel off yours, check in in front for a few minutes, check it in back for about a second, and back to you.
