No 4Lo light on startup

2003 Sr5 V 8. I believe the 4Lo light would come on upon starting the truck ,like all the other systems lights check on startup. I tried using my 4Lo and noticed this issue. The light dosent come on when the car is started and nothing happens when I turn the dial?
I recently had the dealer reflash the ECU for a recall. Also had the brake accumulator and ABS pump swapped out. Not sure if it's related?
I couldn't find any blown fuses either.
Any help would be appreciated.

I forgot to check this on mine because my dealer reflashed my ECU last week, but I just went out right now and confirmed everything is functioning as it should. My 4LO light does not come on at startup, but it does come on when I move the vehicle into 4LO. I would assume the problem is elsewhere and not related to the ECU flash

No,when I turn the dial to go into 4Lo, nothing happens? No 4Lo light flashing or not.

Not just the light, but does the transfer case actually go into 4lo? Could just be the light burnt out.
