This week I sold my car, and turned 21.:beer:
The car-1999 Mazda Miata with 125k miles. I really enjoyed it, but I never really bonded with it. It was too nice, and stock. In any case, I had to make a tuition payment, so it had to go. I got $3500 for it, which is $500 more than I paid!
arty: Now the saving for a T4R begins, starting with about $1800 after paying for school. It'll be a third gen, and I'm going to try to hold out for a locker, but that may not be possible with my budget. But we will see!
Moving on, the real reason for this post is to see if anyone could help a guy out with some storage. I will be moving to the Charlotte, NC area next summer for college, and I have a bunch of tools I would like to bring, but I have no spot for them. These tools include a box full of basic tools, a mig welder, possibly an engine hoist (if I can fit it in the truck or trailer), and a few other odds and ends. So here is the deal: if anyone in the Charlotte area is willing to store some tools for me, I would let you use them. It would have to be someone that people can vouch for. I probably wouldn't be able to pay much if anything, but hey, free access to tools you didn't have access to before? What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Anyway, I'm excited to get a truck. It would be my first 4 wheel drive, and only my 4th vehicle, so I look forward to a new experience.
