Did you replace the Coil Igniter also?
I had this same exact thing happen to my Toyota 3VZE V6.
I was just driving along and my truck just died. I had my rig towed to my mechanics and I describe him what happened and his first thought was the Coil igniter. He check the coil and that was ok, but no spark. He had a similar thing happen with a Toyota early that week.
Hope that helps..

I replaced the igniter and still no spark? I am going to go back and check the
dirtibutor and see what happens. May be I installed the replacement incorectly?

Distributor was in right. Now down to ECU. WOW. Is this not fun or what!

If you have 11 volts coming out of the coil and you have a new distributor and plug wires, then there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be getting fire. Pull the plugs off the top of the distributor and put your hand on the distributor. You're going to get a good shock if it works but have someone try to crank it and see. Thats the only sure fire way to make sure.

Not sure if your engine has this , but check that the crank angle sensor is plugged in. It's located down near the crankshaft pulley.

this is what the sensor looks like and it will keep you from getting spark. Avalible at autozone for about 80 bucks. This should fix the problem. If you need help with location check the compnent locator @ auto zone.
Good luck I hate the electrical grimlins....
