No trac off or vsc light on dash

Hello guys,

I have searched and haven't found another member with the issue I am having. When putting the car into the on position the owner's manual says that that the VSC and TRAC OFF lights will momentarily come on but mine do not. When I press the Trac button nothing illuminates on the dashboard and today on a slippery road traction control did not engage and the slippery light did not either. I know everyone is looking for this method but I want the opposite as I do not do any kind of off roading just a daily driver and I love it

This might not help much, but here's the VSC/TRAC system problem symptoms table for the 07 models. First step is to check for codes. Depending on your maintenance skill levels, this likely will need dealership/mechanic help.

I believe the lights coming on on start up is the system self check. I had a problem with my lights being always on for what seemed like no reason. The fix for me was to replaced the brake circuit module just above the brake pedal. 30$ part from O'Reilly and haven't had the problem come back yet. I dont think this applies to your situation but I'm not well versed in the VSC/TRAC features.
