Noclinkers 96 Runner

I will look into it. I have a buddy who does smog work, I'll ask him and get back to you.

I have Callen's FJ80 steering box off his old runner on mine.

Well it doesn't matter now since I've 3linked the rear. Lol I ended up with callens mudflaps too through another friend lol I dont think I'll get pulled over til I start running 37s... Knock on wood

Got the ORI's in this weekend. I thought the job was going to be a lot easier than it turn out being.

The struts are wider with the misalignment spacers they use than coilovers and the operating lengths are different as well, so I had to make new tabs for the axle end and new hoops for the frame side.

I need to play around with the pressures and get it dialed in. Right now I have 90psi bottom and 400psi top It sits a little high, but it drives awesome! I'm pretty happy so far.

Very cool! Are those the 14's? I was going to go ORI, but their lead time was ridiculous (10 weeks+, and machines were down).

How much uptravel are you running up front?

Yeah they are the 14's.

I'm right at 6" of up travel right now, but like I said it is a little high. (26" frame Height)

I waited close to 11 wks for mine:doh:

I was about to ask how long you waited lol I'll be interested to see how you like them, especially once you dial em in.

I'm curious about your wheel well trimming. Did you just trim and seal the crack without welding it? You only did the front portion of the wheel well, correct?

Great build, btw!

Sorry, didn't see your post. Yeah, I just sealed the tub with no welding. I did trim the front and rear, but only the front needed the seam seal.

Thanks for the compliment !

How did you Mount your RTT? I fabbed up a low pro roof rack this last weekend ( see my build thread) I'm sure with your fab skills though you could make something pretty awesome, very interested to see!

At the moment I have the tent sitting on a stock rack. In the future I plan on building a lower rack with a way to put a spoiler on the front to protect the rack from tree limbs and wind.
Your concept of the roof rack looks pretty good though. I would like to incorporate one where I could maybe put a little more storage at the rear say for a chainsaw.

Thanks for the heads up on your build, looks pretty good!
