Hi all. I'm the new owner of a 2020 TRD ORP. While I've driven 4WD vehicles over 30 years, this is my first experience with anything other than a GM product. In the past I've always ordered trucks with what GM refers to as a "locking" or "limited slip" rear differential. If a rear wheel spins, the diff locks and both get power, even in 2WD.
I've read the manual and it appears ATS and differential lock are solely 4LO features. Does my new 4R have a limited slip rear differential? Put another way, if I get one rear and one front wheel stuck in 4HI am I stuck? Do I have to shift to 4LO to get power to more than two wheels?
Thanks for any guidance.
