Noobie here, Vehicle Inspection Question

I recently bought a 2004 Sport Edition V8 4x4. Changed the brakes, plugs, dif/xfer fluids, oil, replaced burned out temp control lights, greased zerks all from lurking on this site. So a Big thanks to the members here and all of the great info on this site.

The rig has 81k and the vw dealer offered a 3 month 3000 mile warranty so against my better judgement bought it and figured I'd get it inspected before the warranty was up. So far so good. I live in Fremont, CA. I'm trying to find a shop to inspect the vehicle. Most vehicle inspections seem to include checking the filters, fluid leves, shocks and serpentine belts for $100. None of which I really care about and can inspect/change myself.
Can anyone suggest the types of mechanical items I should have inspected and a reputable place to have it done?? Compression/Boots/tranny....etc.

I thought I found a great shop per YELP, took it there this morning( ("The Shop" on Dusterberry) and my diet must be working no one noticed the 300 lb man with the 8am appointment and completely ignored me. I just left. Tired of feeling dirty after leaving my hard earned money at any place of business. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest everything related to your drivetrain should be good. Diff levels and such. Especially if you dont know if the diff fluid has been done or not, but if you do replace the diffs, make sure to go synthetic
