Received my Eezi-Awn 2.2M K9 Roof Rack today and had some time to install it right away. The install was pretty straight forward since I used the instructions provided by Eezi Awn as well as this install writeup by [MENTION=137794]JasonKoko[/MENTION].
Roof rack was delivered via Fedex freight since its a single large piece.
I didn't take any photos during the install since the writeup above is already so detailed.
I didn't have any issues with the front or back channels bending upwards.
I forgot to install the wind deflector until the very end and would have had to undo a lot of bolts to get it on so I ditched that for now.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with the quality and finish of the rack. It was much lighter than I expected and feels extremely sturdy after tightening everything down. Looking forward to putting it to work on the next trip.

I forgot to install the deflector as well but noticed some wind noise. I went ahead and crawled up there a few weeks later and installed it - noise was very noticeably decreased.

Yea I noticed some wind noise also. Good to hear that the noise was decreased with the deflector installed. I may put mine on as well when I get a chance.

Back home for the holidays and decided to explore some of the hills near where I grew up in Castaic. Never knew these trails existed until today.
Where is this trail in Castaic? I lived there for 8yrs.

I upgraded my reverse bulbs with JDM ASTAR leds (recommended by [MENTION=122201]Friggin Idiot[/MENTION]) and also did the headlight bulb upgrade. Low beam H11 -> H9 and High beam 9005 -> 9011.

I didn't post any photos of the headlight upgrade as its really hard to tell the increase in output from looking at the front. Howver, the difference is definitely noticeable on the road.

Spent a few days in Mammoth last weekend.
We took some side road detours on the way there due to road closures in Tahoe and came across a Audi SQ5 stuck in a muddy ditch.
This was the only photo we took of that event which is of us trying to find the Maxsa traction board under all of the mud.
Good think I had my recovery gear with me.

Coming down Climax run.
Before we made our way home, we were looking for somewhere to take some pictures and we came across a trailhead that covered in DEEP snow.
Heres me getting stuck
Walked up the trail to explore a bit and take some photos.
After, we stopped at a gas station and noticed another path/trailhead right across the street so we just had to check it out. So much for getting back home early...
We didn't make it very far. We couldn't get past this point due to a steep incline with a ton of ruts at the top.

Installed my LED strobe dust/hazard lights. All wired up to a Blue Seas fuse box in the rear with an AOB switch.

This is on my list of mods but haven't gotten around to looking at which ones to use. What lights are you using? Do you mind sharing?
Also, do you have any pictures of how you have your Blue Sea fuse box wired up in the rear?

I don't have a photo but I can possibly post one when I get a chance. I routed the 6awg wire from the engine bay, through the passenger side to the rear. I chose to do the passenger side because it was easier for me to get the wires through the firewall on that side. For the time being, I put the fuse box in the middle secret compartment between the sliding tray and the rear seats. My original plan was to put it in the rear driver side wheel well storage area but was having a hell of a time trying to cleanly route the 6awg wire behind/underneath the rear seats from passenger side to the driver side. I said screw it and put it in the middle compartment so I could finish everything else up. I'll probably get around to moving it to the wheel well storage once I have more time.

I just picked up a set! Getting my custom roof rack installed this weekend but i still need to figure out where and how I'm going to mount a fuse box in the back for constant power before I get them hooked up. I thought about putting it in the same area as the factory jack but I'm also thinking about using that space to mount an air compressor as well. Decision! I may end up mounting it in my drawer system when I get around to building it.
Question quest in regards to how you have the lights mounted. What do you have the lights mounted to if you don't mind sharing? I tried zooming in on the picture but couldn't tell what you have it mounted to. Is it specific to the k9 racks? Its just an aluminum bracket that I picked up from Home Depot for $10 and cut to length. I then drilled holes for lights and to mount to the rack, then painted it black. Those round mounts would work. You can probably make it work somehow with just a flat piece instead of an L type bracket like mine.

Installed my RCI steel gas tank skid and lower link skids. Should make good use of em in the next couple months. The last piece left I need is a rear diff skid.
