yeah this is probably true, we can stick to corral hollow and sourgrass this time around and check out slickrock another time.

Isn't there an extension of Corral Hollow, like Deer Valley? Deer Creek?

What if we throw that into the mix too?

It's a pretty short trail, if we leave earlier we should have time for both that and corral hollow.

FWIW I'd prefer to get there earlier ~8-9 so we have time to check out other areas.

Those are other runs... farther up HWY4.

Black Springs OHV is an area around Corral Hollow. There are some FS roads/trails there.....


Sourgrass and Corral Hollow would be a full day though...

I think you make the trail with-out sliders, only one spot is a questionable, although I've seen a YouTube of a Colorado doing the spot with-out.



Slick Rock I would not attempt with-out sliders and skids, unless, of course, you don't care. Corral Hollow, you can easily make it with-out sliders or skids.

Just saw that Colorado vid, I think I’ll be good (famous last words)!!! But yea slick rock looks likes there’s some spots my rocker panels would not be happy about without sliders for sure.

Deer Valley = 35's, armor, sliders, preferably a locker.

Corral Hollow is about 45 min from Sourgrass to the upper trail head closest to Bear Valley Village. Black Springs OHV is probably 25 minutes from Sourgrass.

Something to laugh at... Just had my 4Runner at the shop to fix a power steering leak and got a call the pump and pressure hose needs to be replaced and guess how much they want? $1850 for pump and main hose! WTF is that like wayyyy high?? The dude said the pressure hose was $900 alone

Ohh and the guy told me to not drive it anywhere until I have them fix it... Now let me clarify that the leak was pretty minor maybe 2-3 oz low in the res

The parts alone are <$700. Fluids, maybe another $40... Labor, shouldn't cost that much, unless they charge $500/hr.
