Nor Cal Wheeling, Camping and BS - 2018

[MENTION=173212]dietsoap[/MENTION] that run was insane....


We found ourselves taking fordyce. Started at 9am, cut out at the trail after winch hill one. Holy shit... My rig is abused beyond belief.
 
For now....

I'm exhausted as shit. Not excited to see how bad the damage is tomorrow...

Fun but huge mistake on our part, I blew my front ankle and lost it in the trail. Had to get hooked up to some jeep guys to get out.

I think for the time being, I will kindly decline any invite to go wheeling. LOL

Quick inspection...
All skids are bent/torn
Rear LCA is bent
CV boot ripped
Can't pop into 4wd anymore. It clicks but won't engage at all. Transfer case looks like its bent forward.
Rear bumpers ****ed.
Rear passenger quarter panel ****ed.
Driving back home, was not fun... would not track straight at all, and it felt like everything was fighting to go straight...

Feeler for Sat. 11/24 ...

Know I've been MIA for a while ... but Im hoping to make it out Thanksgiving weekend... Sat. Nov. 24th ... I know many wont be available... but I thought I would put out a feeler to see who might be interested? Thinking of maybe hitting up Strawberry pass or Pardoe Trail (I think it just opened?) or possibly Genoa Peak trail ... or something else?

Who's interested?

dunno if I even wanna get on a trail...

We hit the trail at 9am.. got to the first river crossing at 12am.. kept on going, had enough of the trail at 1pm. Since we were closer to the exit point, we figured we'd just venture on.. took until midnight to get off the trail... Yea..... No thanks..

Damn, that is a lot of damage, glad you guys made it out at least. Couldn't imagine getting stuck there overnight without coms.

Although, after that run, everything is going to look very easy for you.
