Had a little fun with [MENTION=142877]Folsom4Rnr[/MENTION] today at Prairie City. Glad you could make it bud.

Finally made use of my sliders. Of all the places, didn't think Prairie City would be the place I'd use them. hehe

Was able to get my diffs changed, regeared yeah.
Great turn out, few others got there stuff done also.

Yeah it was a pretty cool trail, I didn't make it too far past that water crossing so I don't know how far out it goes.

There was a section just after the crossing that looked like it would be a bit rough without larger tires, and I didn't have anyone with me that could tug me out if I got stuck so I wasn't feeling too daring.

But I think that trail and corral hollow could be a sweet day trip. Maybe finish the trip off with a stop at Giant Burger in Arnold or Pour House in Murphy's...

Oh yea, the big dip.



It doesn't go a whole lot further, but that dip can be challenging when you are solo.

A stop a the Lube Room, that's a great place for food and drinks.

Hey Mark, new to the forum but was looking to get out with some folks for an over nighter and I just saw this post. Mind if the wife and I join? Also I’ve never road that trail, how gnarly is it? I’m in a 4th gen with 2+ lift arb skids but no sliders yet!

That's ****in wierd, I remember saying what's up to you now too. Man what a small world...

I think he's selling it because he wants the money for a DP on a house or something like that.

In that video he was running it in 2wd, there was something wrong with the transfercase at the time and couldn't get it into 4wd. We tried it again later after he had it fixed and it walked right through it.

Ah that makes sense. That sucks though, he probably put tons of time into building that.

I remember either you or your friend came up to us after getting up that and saying something along the lines of that. :lmao:

Just stopped by the Stanislaus NF rangers station to pick up my campfire permit, happy to announce all OHV trails are officially open.:whoo:

You know that you can get your permit online? Camp Fire Permit

Thinking about running Corral Hollow on Memorial Day weekend, I will be up in the area for the weekend.

Possibly Saturday. I need to finish raking up pine needles first. The wife and I were talking about going over the pass to Markleeville on Sunday. And of course, we will be eating dinner at either The Lube Room or The Camp Connell General Store since the will be opening their beer garden and wood fired pizza for the summer.
