I see some one took the real trail. Now, when you hook the "Right turn Clyde", hopefully you swung to the right of the large pine, yeah that section that is off camber to the passenger side.

I've thought about doing Bald mountain, but that drive down on saturday morning then coming back up on sunday afternoon just wasnt worth it to me.

I heard California shooting ranges are just yelling at targets, telling them that they hurt your feelings.

Not sure where signal peak is but depending on when the plan is to go up on Saturday I'd like to come check it out.

Depends, if we are camping we can either head up Friday night, camp either at bowman lake or in eagle lakes along the yuba river and just go riding on Sat. Or head up early Sat morning just for a day trip. Many options available to us depending on your schedule. The days are a lot shorter now.

I dont know of any google map overlays... but here's what I use:

1. NFS map
2. BLM Maps
3. 4x4 maps, alittle out dated..

And a book that I dont use.
CA backroads..

It'll be early morning at the least. I'm in Citrus heights which is an hour away from the Staging point for signal peak. I'm thinking we would meet at the Staging area around 8. There are bunch of roads we can do as well along with Signal peak around the area.
