BUT... My 4runner isn't exactly your average 4runner. Well, most here aren't your average runners. But mine and a few others have some somewhat rare goodies on them that set them apart from the others.

My signature says it all. I'm selling my 3rd gen so I can buy back my 1st gen that I sold last year.

So, what do you think my 4runner is worth?

It's a 98 Supercharged 3.4, urd 6 injector kit, 2.1 pulley, 5 speed, yukon gears in the rear with a limited slip diff, and a handful of other mild goodies. The link is in my signature with pics. I think I'm pretty close to a fair value with my asking price of $7500 but if I'm out in lala land let me know.

I think for CO that price is quite fair, but I think Ron, Kyle, and other 3rd gen CO members can more accurately gauge your price as well as how fast it will move.

Give it a nice wash and wax and see what it fetches. The only wiggle room a potential buyer would have IMHO concerns the amount of tread left on the tires.

I agree. I think if it had better meats that it would sell much faster. I was extremely hesitant to buy tires since I got it because I wasn't sure which route I was going to go with the suspension. Either way if I need to wiggle a few hundred bucks then I won't let that stop a potential sale.

From what I have been seeing from other runners in my area, I don't think my price is too far from anyone else's with what my runner has included.

I think it's a good price. I would say it's on the low side with what is coming with it, but at the same time I would be hesitant to buy it just because of everything done to it. The runners near me usually go for around $5-$7k for a 3rd gen, and I would definitely be willing to pay more for what you are including over that price average so I think you're golden.

After going for a ride in this thing with you I'd honestly have paid your asking price if it was something I was looking for.

I think you'll find someone interested locally and when they get to test drive it it'll be a done deal. That thing is incredible man its just going to take a particular buyer.

Since riding in it I feel like my runner is a pig and am quite envious.

I really do like this engine setup. It's quite fast for what it is and is a blast to drive. It's hard to drive it and not stomp on the gas pedal once in a while just to hear the supercharger whine, listen to the exhaust growl and feel the runner throw you back in the seat and take off.

I'm selling this runner to get my old 1st gen back from the guy I sold it to last year. I built the engine in that one and it's no where near what I have now. It only has about half the power MAYBE... It's a pretty well built 22re with a handful of LCE goodies.

There's something about being in a light weight, topless, doorless and nimble 4runner that is a lot of fun! Plus, I built everything on the 1st gen that I'm buying back.

Don't get me wrong, I really like my 3rd gen. But if I took it off road and laid it on its side I would be extremely upset. If I put a rock into the quarter panel I would be extremely upset. Now if I got some body damage on a 1st gen then I would welcome a project to fix it and beef it up a little. I got a 3rd gen because I wanted something more powerful and more comfortable to drive. I got all of that but in the end, it's not as much fun for me.

I'm sure it would go for 10k out here with the way prices are and now that it is coming up on winter also. I'm sure I could sell it on the MT for 10k all day long. GLWS man.

I Could see some buyers being put off by the fact that you replaced the engine and now, less than 60 days later you have it up for sale.

I would also suggest putting some other tires on it. You can find some CL tires with 60% tread for $400 easy.

I think the price is good. Honestly, if this were on the market when I picked up my '99 I probably would have bought it at around $7k, so $7500 is pretty much on the mark for asking price. :edit: actually I might have low-balled you a little more for the tires.
