Northern VA dealers

I'm preparing for a purchase of a 2017 here in Northern Virginia. I'm in Loudoun County, but don't mind driving when the time comes.

Any recent experiences, pro or con?

I did a great deal of research before I bought mine and thought Jack Taylor Toyota in Alexandria had the best prices. Really easy to deal with.

Edit: I used a "true car" like buying service and they always had a price lower than any other dealer.

I purchased my 2014 SR5 in Dec 2014 from AutoNation Toyota in Leesburg.

Their salesman was a little goofy, but the sales manager, and the service department have been wonderful to me. I was able to get a slightly used 2014 for 8k off MSRP, and they threw in the first two scheduled maintenances on the house, because they couldnt sell me the rig as a certified truck.

I live in suburban Md, so it was a bit of a hike to get to them, but i am very glad i did.

Buy one in Maryland, they have a cap on the BS "processing" fee. You'll save hundreds right off the bat :thumb: (I lived in Va my entire life, until last year, and bought most of my cars in MD)

This. I'm actually from Leesburg. I got mine from Passport Toyota in MD.

I got my 2016 from Ourisman Fairfax Toyota. Unbelievable service! I took a True Car quote into the sales department for an SR5 and after sitting in it, I realized that it was not what I really wanted (color combo) so I left and continued looking elsewhere. A couple of days later, they called me back to look at a Trail that they just got in. I swung by to look at it and realized that That was the one! So I told them that I needed to run some numbers and figure out what my payoff was on my old truck. They already gave me the printout for the True Car pricing and l gave me 3 different payment plans to go with. Between the Salesman, The Sales Manager and the Finance Manager, we hammered out a deal that was satisfactory and I drove away my new Trail. I have always felt some sort of remorse in every deal I have made in the past but this deal left me smiling and saying good things about everyone involved. Even after the sale, when I went to get my 5K service, I was floored with how well the service team informed me of everything that I needed and what to expect at my next service. I highly recommend this dealer for your purchase and service experience. PM me if you want the info of my salesman or any other info.

You can negotiate the processing fee in VA...most MD places have a fee too, but it is usually pretty high in VA (it isn't capped in VA but it is capped in MD I believe).

I bought a 4Runner from them years and years ago and they were more than $4k less than the dealers in Richmond.

I bought mine at Koons in Arlington and had a pretty good experience. I used the Navy Federal Buying program and was able to get my '16 TE a little below invoice. As others have said, True Car is another good car buying option

When I was living in Arlington looking for a TRDP I had a bad experience at Priority of Springfield. Told me they had one on the lot, I drove down there and that turned out to be a lie. Then they tried all the tricks in the book to get me into an SR5. Ended up getting lucky and found one at Jerrys in Baltimore, it was about as pleasant as buying a new car can be. Salesman even called me the next day to let me know there was a 1k military discount going on and they would deduct it from my total. He didn't have to do that, and I walked out with my pro for a couple grand less than MSRP.

I just bought a 16 trail about 30 min ago from Haley Toyota in Midlothian for $1000 under invoice. I did have a trade so I'm sure they made the money back. I was happy to get a new t4r for 35k though and a 1.9% finance rate

On Black Friday bought a 2016 Limited 4Runner from Koons Toyota in Easton. Sticker was $45,600. Got it for 40k plus a Amazon Card for $100. I was satisfied.
